Have you tried to send a Gif to a friend by WhatsApp? The maximum that your friend will be able to see is a static image. Unlike other instant messaging applications, such as Facebook Messenger and Telegram, which can run Gifs within the application. Another option for those who want to send a Gif to a friend by WhatsApp, is to send a link, but one would have to click the link, and exit the application, a discouraging effort.

Know the function called "autoplay".

The latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, yes, for now only the iPhone testers could see the novelty beforehand, brought a feature that will enable automatic playback of animated GIFs.

You can also save GIFs such as images, which seems to be a resource to save space inside the smartphone, at the time of store the GIFs on the device. So far, WhatsApp has not confirmed when the support for GIFs will be released for all users.

We love the novelty!
After all, we are passionate about Gifs. Are you?
